Wlad, founder of Atelier Socle

I'm Wladislas, but everyone calls me Wlad. Co-founder of Atelier Socle, I took over as CEO in 2022. I'm also a Swift Tech Lead, specialized across all Apple platforms.

Nearly 15 years of experience in iOS development — from the early Objective-C days to Swift 6 today.

Background

I work as an iOS Tech Lead on projects with high technical requirements. I've evolved from Lead Developer to senior developer across various missions.

I've had the opportunity to work in very different fields, each with its own constraints and learnings:

  • Healthcare — Medical devices and connected prosthetics

  • Finance — Savings, life insurance, retirement for a market leader

  • Fintech — Neobanks and payment solutions

  • Digital identity — Cryptography and compliance with European and international standards

  • Retail — Sports and DIY, omnichannel experiences

  • IoT — Connected objects and communication protocols

This diversity taught me one thing: solid foundations are universal. Well-architected code in healthcare applies the same principles as in fintech.

I created Atelier Socle to offer digital solutions that don't compromise on quality. No throwaway code, no hidden technical debt — products designed to last.

What motivates me? Technical challenges, discovering new fields I don't know yet, constantly learning. And above all, sharing it all.

There's also a personal project, put in a drawer a few years ago, that I'd like to pick up again someday. Atelier Socle was also born from that curiosity.
